I want to say how sweet, and kind Lesley Anne was. We spoke about North and South, how much I loved that show. And she expressed how horrible she felt about the terror attack we had in Oslo in july. I told Lesley Anne a quote that one of the survivors on the island said, wich she thought was very beautiful... "if one man can create that much hate, imagine how much love the rest of us can create"... It was truly amazing to meet this beautiful soul that ive been a fan of for 20 years. I cannot wait to meet her again sometime down the road. Thanks Lesley Anne, you rock! :-)

The day I met Lesley-Anne Down
On 27th August 2011, as part of the B&B fan event in LA, I finally got the opportunity to meet a lady I have admired since I was 12 years old when I first saw her in North & South, my fave actress, Lesley-Anne Down!
After more years than I'm gonna admit to, lol, something I never thought would happen was about to. I’m from the UK, so yes you can say it is a long way to go to meet your fave lol, but hey was a one and only opportunity, so did it, paid for the B&B event, ‘enjoyed’ the no A/C room, stale cookies & pretzels and not forgetting my can of soda from the drink token you get ;) and got in line to meet Lesley-Anne. That's when things started to look up!
The event was an autograph session, a chance to meet and take a pic with the actors from The Bold and the Beautiful. Lesley-Anne’s line was long and busy all day, but she took the time to meet, sign photos and have her picture taken with every fan, right to the end, being lovely with all. She was also very funny throughout the day with her antics!
When my time came I was nervous because it’s someone I’ve admired for years, but Lesley-Anne was very kind and gracious, well she was after she got through telling me off for the gift I’d brought her on behalf of TeamLAD! As you can see from the pic, I took one for the team haha lol. Then it was time for pics. Lesley-Anne was fab, she put me at ease and even signed some photos for friends who are fans and couldn’t attend.
You are conscious of how many fans are waiting in line at these events, so you try and be as speedy as possible, so everyone has a turn. So I managed to do all this in 5 minutes. Which made you appreciate Lesley-Anne's patience and the time she gave during what must have been a long and exhausting day for her. It was worth the trip and I am really happy could get pics and autographs for others and share with them so they too could experience a little of the day. My only regret is that more of TeamLAD couldn’t be there in person and meet the lady herself and see how beautiful, funny and nice she is.
Best of all about this day is I got to attend it with a very good friend I made as a result of being a fan of Lesley-Anne, Jules. It made the experience even more special.
So thank you Lesley-Anne for your time and above all else for the friendships I have made through being a fan of yours. These are priceless.
Sorry I can’t be more enlightening as to the meeting as it was really all a blur lol. I do remember Lesley-Anne pinching our friend Anne's chips at the end of the event though,seems Lelsey-Anne too found the stale pretzels on offer less than appetising!
If there is another event from The Bold and the Beautiful I would recommend to other fans paying the money to attend and to meet Lesley-Anne as part of this, 5 minutes of your life you will er never remember in my case, but forget in most others lol.

We have been fans of yours since we ftrst saw you on screen. For some that was in North & South, for others Sunset Beach. We admire your work and think you are so talented, an incredible actress. The collage was made so you could see your "team" all suited up -(ok so really it's just our faces superimposed on random bodies but whatever) © Also notice your youngest fan Katrina, who adores Jowen and our mascot, Archie the Wonder dog (Susie's dog) loves you too!
The Secret: you've probably already read this book. It's included as a reminder of positive thinking and inspiration ... since you're an inspiration to us!
Tastykakes: in this instance, serving as your "birthday cake." They're an East Coast favorite, how you guys live without them in the West is unknown.
Grey Goose: being the beverage of choice ... since we couldn't be with you for a drink on your birthday, enjoy it! ! !! (Hope you like that kind, if not drink it anyway it's strong, yummy and after a couple you won't care).
Candy: sour worms and toberlones, best if not eaten together! Everyone needs sweets on their birthday.
If something is included that you don't like, sorry we were misinformed & give them to Don! (not the shirt obviously).

One last thing, we would love it if you did a meet & greet one day for your fan club members. We know you participate in the B&B meet & greets and nothing against the show, but we only watch it because you're on it. It's definitely a dream to see you in person. If this isn't a possibility we understand, we know how busy you are.

My description of meeting Lesley-Anne for the first time and others...........
Since Lesley-Anne has been on the show, she hasn't missed coming to the fan events. And, she always has the nicest smile and is always very gracious and giving of her time when you go up to her. I remember the first time, I was kind of tongue tied and she sensed it and made me very comfortable in getting me to speak to her,. I always remembered that. I thought afterwards, wow, what a nice lady. And another time, she was hurrying to leave the event and she could see I was disappointed I didn't get a picture and stopped and smiled for one with me. I'm so happy she has finally gotten a great storyline. I love her and Owen together instead of always in the background worrying about Nick and his problems.

My meeting with Lesley Anne Down at the Bold and Beautiful Fan Events 2009.
It was my 4th time at the B&B Fan Events. At the luncheon Gea and her husband Arend came up to meet me. I was very excited to see Gea again, we're close friends. After the luncheon we got to the studio to get some pictures and signatures. Lesley Anne Down, who is my favorite from the B&B cast, was very happy to see me again, she gave me a really big hug. She gave me a picture of her because I'm a member of her fanclub. She is so cute
I had a wonderful time at the Fan Event.
Afterwards we went out for a drink together with Gea and Arend. Lesley Anne Down also stopped by to say hello. She introduced me to her husband, but he already knew who I was. We'd met through Lesley Anne Down's website and had chatted with one another.
"Lesley Anne, I'm grateful for our friendship and cherish you as a friend. I hope to see you again at the next Fan Event."

On Saturday, August 29, 2009, one of my wildest dreams came true: meeting the wonderful Lesley-Anne Down!!!
I had been a fan of hers for 25 years, ever since I had seen her in North and South!
She made such an impression on me that I set out to discover every other movie and miniseries she had ever done and would ever do thereafer.
I always felt this lady had class and grace on top of being one of the most beautiful if not THE most beautiful woman alive!
Well, let me tell you: this lady has class and then some. When I met her in the lobby of the hotel, she exuded such grace and kindness: I had my picture taken with her and she wanted to make sure that I got a good picture. She looked at the picture
taken with my camera and felt that we were too far. We therefore took another one, but this time closer.
That is not all however:
Lesley-Anne was supposed to leave at 4:00. Well, 4:00 came and went and she still was around. You see, there were still people in line waiting to meet her and get her autograph and our precious Lesley-Anne woulkd not disappoint them. She ended up leaving at 5:15!!!!
Now during the autograph session, when my turn came, I told her that she was an inspiration to me and that I also felt spiritually connected to her. Well, she gave me one of those incredible hugs, I thought I had died and gone straight to Heaven!!!
After all was over, I was hanging out in the lobby with our dear Gea and Jules, a fellow fan club member, when around comes you will never guess whom!!!
We had our own private chat for 10 minutes, no kidding!!!
What a LADY!!!
What a beautiful and wonderful human being!!!
I feel very honoured and very blessed to be her fan and to consider her a friend!

My meeting with Lesley Anne.
The first time I met Lesley Anne was when I won a trip to the set of the Bold and the Beautiful.
With thanks to my mom and the tv show who made it all happen!
A dream came true, and until today it still feels like a dream!
It was 2 February 2006 that me and my mom went to LA to visit the set.
The flight was very long, and unfortunately I also found out on that flight that I get airsick..
Horrible, but it was for a good cause!
So we arrived there that same day and went to our hotel, I went straight to bed, because the following day we would visit the set, and that I didn’t want to miss.
The next morning I was my normal self again and ate great pancakes. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the studio, Jennifer a girl that worked there was going to give us the tour.
She was so nice to us, and so there I was together with my mom on the set, seeing Ronn and Katherine Kelly do a scene in Brooke’s bedroom where else? J
So Ronn came up to us and said hey girls how are you doing? We met Ronn a couple of times before, so he recognized us.
We went on the photo with him and later on with Katherine Kelly, and then I also met Joe Mascolo, and Lorenzo Lamas, and last but not least Lesley Anne, she had a scene that we were also allowed to watch.
 After that shoot Jennifer introduced us to her, and she was so sweet to us, I wasn’t nervous at all anymore, she has a very cute English accent and she asked us where we were from.We talked for a bit and then we also went on the photo with her.
She said goodbye to us as she left the set, and then we also met Jack Wagner, but he also had to prepare himself for a taping so we didn’t get the change to go on the photo with him.
And I also caught a flash of Hunter Tylo.
A great day that was.
Never could I have imagined to go to LA again but then for the fan club event last year August 2007.
So there I saw Lesley Anne again, and the amazing thing was that she still remembered me and my mom, she thought it was from a couple of months back, while it was more then 1 year ago.
So she signed our photo’s and again posed with us for photo’s.
That one you can see with this story.
So I wanted to thank Lesley for being so sweet to us both times we met her.
Do hope to meet her again soon.

I met Lesley the first time I went to the B&B events in august 2003.  I was there still in my wheelchair.
Lesley Anne Down was so kind to me as well to everybody else.
I found here very nice and a great lady elthough I love everybody in the B&B-cast.
I then posed with Lesley for a picture.
August 2005, there I was again at the B&B Fan Events in LA but this time I managed to attend on feet, not in the wheelchair.
This to the very much surprise of Lesley Anne Down who could not back her tears from shear  happiness to see us all again.
She was happy to share the story with John McCook.
I look very hard forward to arrive at the B&B-event this august 2007
